Dr. Caleb Seet Yu Shiang is an accredited Family Physician with over 9 years of clinical experience and a special interest in pain management and sports medicine. As Medical Director of DR+ Medical & Paincare Alexandra, he leads a clinic dedicated to helping patients find lasting relief from musculoskeletal, joint, and soft tissue pain through evidence-based, minimally invasive treatments.
Dr. Seet graduated from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and went on to complete postgraduate diplomas in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He is registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) as a Family Physician.
Dr. Seet has worked across a wide range of hospital departments and spent two years at a government Polyclinic. This comprehensive medical experience shapes how he sees patients today. A knee complaint, for instance, is not just a knee problem. He looks at the whole picture: the patient’s other health conditions, how they move, and what they do day to day.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Seet is a former competitive athlete and keeps an active lifestyle. This gives him a practical understanding of what it means to be sidelined by an injury and how much it matters to get back to doing what you enjoy.

He manages common long-term conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol (hyperlipidaemia), and asthma. If you are looking to register with a regular GP under the Healthier SG programme, DR+ Alexandra is a participating clinic. The clinic is also enrolled under CHAS, so patients who qualify can access subsidised fees.
On top of his Family Medicine training, Dr. Seet has completed a postgraduate diploma in Sports Medicine from NTU, and a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine in Korea University, Seoul. He is also proficient with Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound. Patients coming to him with pain and sports injuries can expect treatment above and beyond what standard GP and primary care can provide.
Having received training overseas by international experts in pain medicine in Korea and beyond, Dr Seet blends elite level interventional pain procedures and knowledge with primary care. He utilises in-clinic ultrasound and advanced intervention techniques to diagnose and treat common pain conditions. With image-guided precision, Dr Seet treats the root cause of pain and injury with targeted injections and nerve blocks.
His patients range from young active adults with musculoskeletal and sports injuries, to older individuals with degenerative knees, hips, spine and other joint pains. Patients receive in-depth expertise on musculoskeletal care, and experience real-time visualisation of their problems with ultrasound. Precision treatments are rendered in clinic with ultrasound-guided injections, with same-day procedures and no downtime.
