Dr. Kwong Seh Meng graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. He has trained at various hospital departments, including General Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery.
Dr Kwong attained his Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2009. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health in 2013 and has served as the Designated Workplace Doctor and Advisor for various companies in Transport, Oil and Gas, and Manufacturing. Dr Kwong is also a certified OGUK (Oil and Gas UK) Examiner as well as a certified EIMS (Exercise Is Medicine, Singapore) physician since 2015. As a firm believer in continuous learning, Dr Kwong completed various courses including the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) General and Advanced Medical Directors Course, Basic Microsurgical Course and the Singapore Hyperbaric and Underwater Medicine Course (SHUMEC).
Dr. Kwong is passionate about musculoskeletal pain and injuries and employs a multimodal approach incorporating exercise, physiotherapy and targeted interventions.
He is also an advocate of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in primary care. This allows him to bring value to consults by streamlining investigations and bringing precision to treatment.
He is the co-author of the “Cartoon Guide to Type 2 Diabetes”, and also contributed the chapter “GP Assessment and Management of Hematospermia” in the Handbook of Urology, published by Singapore General Hospital.
His special interests include Diabetes, Men’s Health and STD Treatment, Sports and Conditioning, and Home Care / Palliative Care.
Dr. Kwong is fluent in multiple languages which include English, Malay, Mandarin, Thai, and Hokkien.
